Annie & Aaron’s Cherry Blossom Engagement

Every March people flock to the tidal basin in Washington DC for the annual show out of the cherry blossoms. Thousands and thousands of trees put forth tiny pink buds, and decorate the water’s edge with color resembling cotton candy puffs on a stick.

Annie and Aaron now call DC home and we thought it appropriate to show off their engagement and new life in their new city. They braved the freezing March temps and gusty wind to get these beautiful Spring sunrise photos. (In between frames Annie would warm up in Uggs and a parka- such a trooper!) I loved this session because of the natural elements mixed in with the historical DC features.
